I had to click on this poem just after reading your poem of THE DEADLY REALM OF NIGHT. The two poems are counterparts in every possible way. This one is light in both senses of the word - it's bright and it's not heavy. The tone is personable. We can walk around inside this poem, whereas in the first one we just cower in fear. It's the difference between paralysis and free movement. Just as Milton contrasted moods in L'ALLEGRO and IL PENSEROSO, you are contrasting our different responses to degrees of light/dark. It's really stunning.
