Bring Me Hope Poem by Boston Kelley

Bring Me Hope

There is a room no one enters
Where I wish to depart.
Anger and Grief have formed
The knob that I desire to turn.
Where is Hope to be my key,
The light in the darkest of nights?
Where are the visions to show me
What lies beyond these walls?
Life-giving trees stand tall and firm
Outside this room I strongly believe;
For there healing is to be found.
Memory crackles in the fireplace,
Illuminating the bookshelves of my past.
Bring me hope to give the visions;
Bring me hope to see the outside;
Bring me hope to mark paths to healing.
