Bridge Joins Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Bridge Joins

Standing while-
On the wrong pitch
Expecting all others
To stand on the right
Serendipity
That becomes a cult
Performing for free
For the life time-
For the moon to rise
Rise soon in the sky
Shining so bright
Making happiness
The right choice-
Becoming original self
Letting others to be.

An all time-low
Social media monster hit
Getting the drive
Looking out for love
Plying it with an ease
Of a sleep-walker
Facing violence-
Fallaciously assuming
To be non-violent
A civilization on the globe.

Wishing so-
To rise to the occasion
Rather to be limited one
To the writing skill
That I possess-
No one ever gained
Out of violence-
Finding my books
To be intimidating
Covering my book-shelves
With blinds-
While writing on the matter
Matter being so solemn-
Too serious, too grave
Like the victims fighting
Against wilds in the jungle
In harmony with heritage
Must, come true in times.

Once, a happy story
Now gone awfully-tragic
Serenity is broken up
Never to be friendly again
The memories of upset
Blood on the streets
Passing through-
The treasure of tales
Grounding in the real world.

Remixing plus-minus
Bridging the boundaries
Through unnamed mystery
Of mystic-silence of people.
Both the wall and the bridge
Bona-fide made with same stuff
Wall divides whereas, bridge joins.
