My younger, yet much BIGGER, brother stomped on me good,

I loved the last stanza... and I didn't need the poet's notes to know that it wasn't all true.

We all are beating around bushes trying to deal with this crisis thrown on our face in a way that we don’t even know what is hitting us. Glad to read your poem. Stay well and stay home even if pulling your hair. I pulled weeds yesterday!

Everybody got a beating sometime or the other from and siblings, but perhaps those were for a good reason. Good to know that the beatings you mentioned in the poem were only imaginations and far from being true. A poem that rhymes good.

You were beaten, slapped, pounded and whacked according to your poem but have admitted that it is a joke. You have been punched a few times. Though you profess to be a bad bully, i don't think you are! You are a honest and aharmless bully Bri......For this poem inspired by a message from Kostas....my full vote for you dear friend......10

Oh boy I'm super glad this is not true, for siblings and parental beating is not right. And crushing poor lil ants and being in a mental asylum oh noh I'm glad this is just your fantastic imagination playing with our minds for reading fun. Kudos again sir Bri!

In Russia, they say that if a husband beats his wife, then he loves her. You have a slightly different situation. But it seems that you were beaten out of special love for you. And probably for good reason. You made a decent loving husband and a poetic Internet companion. It's time not to beat you, but to love you.

Bullying is a real issue. Most people are not aware how much damage it makes to the self esteem of the person bullied. In some cases it makes rereparable damage to a person's psyche.Even parents while disciplining their children do not know whether beating and thrashing do any good to the child. Thanks Bri for sharing this poem..More discussions, research and councelling are required at school and college level on the issue where teachers, students, parents and psychologists should participate.
