The poem, INVICTUS by William Ernest Henley is a great poem. It is one of my favorite great poems of all time.
A heartwarming, inspiring and humorous write. Liked the closure line, " Lend a hand To bring fairness to all throughout the world, in EVERY single land. A great line from a marvelous poem. It captures the true spirit of Christmas and must be put in our heart and imbibe in the mind.
Wishing a fair chance to have a decent life is great. Thanks.
2 - Ok, so PH makes some mistakes. Don't we all? ? ? And PH is free to use, submit poems to, and read stuff from others. If 'lucky' one might also get, as a message, a provocative message from some 'person' wishing to get to know " one" better! bri :) Where else can I get all of this for FREE! ?

" [a cartoon character used to say that in the Peanuts comic strips in U.S. newspapers]
You evoke the Christmas of childhood skilfully. For some reason, this reminds me of 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens, my favourite.
