Breaking The Glass Ceiling

BREAKING THE GLASS CEILING
Yogita from Nandurbar,
could have practiced at the bar,
but chose rough life on highways,
driving trucks nights and days;
her grit makes men treat this peer at par!

what made Yogita choose trucking?
breaking glass ceiling, she feels like a king;
she earns well to meet her needs,
with a family to feed;
in this path breaker's praise, may Indians sing!

Story: Yogita Raghuvanshi is from Nandurbar, Maharashtra. She was a commerce graduate. Her husband persuaded her to get a Law degree too. She was free to practice at the bar. But she preferred to be a homemaker and look after her husband and two kids. But suddenly her husband passed away. She was thus compelled to work. They had a truck and had a driver. It was running under loss. She learnt truck driving and soon was quite skilled. Getting rid of her driver she started trucking, both within the state and interstate. Initially she was being made fun of or even leered at by all the male truckers. She ignored the taints with grit.
She could have joined as a junior lawyer but the remuneration was uncertain. Now she is enjoying trucking and well respected by other men! It is an all male domain. Kudos to Yogita for breaking into this exclusive male club!
