Brands Poem by Lauren Coles

Brands

People love to go shopping,
People don't want to buy generic brands because they are not advertised on television,
The company may not have the money to advertise on a high budget,
There are thousands of brands that are sold in America every day,
Workers have to pay attention to the catalog of products that are flying off the shelves and have to enter into the database to see how many of the products are sold to determine whether or not they should buy them to replace their inventory,
Customers are more likely to buy brands like Lays potato chips and Kellogg cereal,
If a company is new they need to get all the publicity they can get,
They don't want to get a bad reputation,
If a company makes potato chips with dog hair including in the ingredients that would definitely be a red flag for consumers,
That's why they're are health inspectors who make sure that every single customer is safe,
Dog hair is definitely disgusting to eat,
People want their food to taste good when they bring it home to feed their hungry family.

It's true that many of the lesser-known brands are just as high quality as the major brands, and are usually much cheaper because the company saves money by advertising less or not at all.
