Bracelet(For Anne) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Bracelet(For Anne)

Rating: 5.0

Fondling my bracelet
I remembered when you gave it to me
I was so surprised to receive it
At the end of the day
I cried a little
Because I thought you had forgotten
It was my birthday
And I haven't taken it off since
Now, you've left for another town
Yeah, we phone each other
But it's not the same
Though, it's our new reality
I wish you would come back

How is it that the small things, details, manage to remind us of the big, meaningful things in life? A really magnificent poem, LeeAnn.

Its funny how certain things remind us of friends, I have a few gifts from friends, one in particular is important to me. A good friendship is always long lasting.

Very touchy! When one goes far and that hurts another. So sad! But life goes on. Thanks for sharing such a beautifully constructed poem! People shouldn't break up. They can move one together in both good and bad time. In this poem, the true love was nicely expressed. Thanks for sharing.
