Bow Shooting



Were the fuselage and the empennage
parts of an arrow,
a plane, un avion,
might be called an arrow, une flèche.
A runway (une piste)might be a bow, un arc;
a terminal (une gare) , un carquois, a quiver.

I see -
and if so,
aviation would be archery, tir à l'arc -
bow shooting or shooting the bow.

And where you're going to:
the target,
la cible,
le but.
