1.Mayur - The Peacock
A graceful dart
A step, hop and a jump
The dancing movement of a ballerina
So heavily winged
Yet, so light on feet.
2. Kokila - The Cuckoo
You remain a hidden wonder
Beyond my roving naked eye
The mysterious voice that sings
Cuc koo……Cuc koo.
3. The Whimsical Warbler
The songs of a warbler
Sometimes, sharp, screechy and trill
Many a time, melodious and entertaining.
4. Beaming Brownie Birds
Brown, brownie loving beings
Beaming, bouncing tiny birds
Hip hip - hop hop - household aves
Hopping, swinging, dancing sparrows.
5.Beautiful Butterflies
Beautiful Butterfly! I wish, I were You
Bouncing on the hills and mountains with glee
Beaming with the flowers of woods and valleys,
Bubbly always, flying, gliding, dancing so free.
6. The Black Spotted Red May Beetle
Tiny lovable beings
They have survived
The onslaughts of nature
They are here on earth thriving for
Two hundred seventy million years
This verily is a wonder.
7. An Ancient Bond with Nature's Environment
My tiny soul is not mine alone
It is a fragment of nature's powerful and magnanimous soul.
