As invitingly attractive
As it is, as warm lit
For a lamp, city thoroughfare's
Old world charms emit
With rays of love, out from under
The one smiling aspect
Looked for. Autumn's rainy blurred swipe
Leaf-grimed hand's, passed across
In trying to smudge, at a loss
What's kissably perfect.
