Bonded Poem by Skylark Woodrow

Bonded

Our bond is not that of mother and daughter,
It is something more.
It is the rare bond between two souls;
She has part of mine,
And I have part of hers living within me.
Our hearts are intertwined;
The delicate web connecting us for all eternity.
It survives pain,
It survives heartache,
It survives the grave.
Once forged,
It can never be lost or broken.
