Bobby's On The Run. Poem by Tom Allport

Bobby's On The Run.

Rating: 5.0

Hang on Mo
For Pete's sake
Here comes
Billy no mates
Who is a proper Charlie
According to Hoyle
He will shoot at Will
Then Gordon Bennett
But not before you can say
Jack Robinson
And Bobs your uncle
In Arthur mo'
No time to Jimmy Riddle
To Peter out
GREAT SCOTT?
It's Rosie Lea
With sweet Fanny Adams
In Davey Jones locker
They've gone Mutt and Jeff
Said doubting Thomas
No way Jose
Replied Jack the lad
Who was only taking the Michael
And was now happy as Larry
Even though a nosey Parker
He'd had a Mickey Finn
So nice one Cyril
You smart Alec
Because of Montezuma's revenge
It's not to-night Josephine
Bobby's still on the run.

Every Tom, , and Harry is laughing their head off at this delightful roast of our idioms. Enjoyed this immensely. I bet Gilroy wished he were here. Thank you for this start to my day, Tom! 10++++++++++++++++
