Boats; And A Sea Of Ghosts Poem by james watkin

Boats; And A Sea Of Ghosts

Unreckoned with on shore
Rocked asleep, thereon
Which deathly chill is, to trace
Shipwreck's haunted place.

Secure tied and safe moored
This eve, summer mooned
Boats. Babes! Yet whose gentle sight
Sea-turned, gives one fright.
