WOW! This is superb! What drama, what truth, the art of poetry serving the art of the blues, and both are enhanced by this union. I remember during his performance many years ago, Taj Mahal telling us the Blues can't be defined, only experienced, but the one thing the Blues always is - is sweet. I've never forgotten that. People applauded after he said it, and then he said, Now I'm going to prove it to you. Your poem is another proof of that truth, and it needs no further comment. The experience of reading it is totally fulfilling.
That's a great poem mate. I had a perfect scene playing in my head. Can you read mine if you get the time and let me know what you think?
My favourite don't know what else to say read em all and this is my favourite
Beautiful spit and sawdust write of truth reality and those glorious blues.. I'm not a specific follower of any music style I appreciate all types but blues and vino seem the perfect company to enduce tears of respect and nostalgia..Thank you for sharing Karen :)
Didn't The Who do a live album from Leeds? Love The Who. Pete's a great guitarist. And song writer. One of the best ever. 'S'

Thanks for spending time to write this. The weather-beaten people always have a story to tell, but gets condemned too easily. Salute...
Great poem. I like poems about the blues. It is such an artistic and heart felt music so bringing poetry to that stage only makes sense.
