Hello Eugene. First, thanks for reading and commenting on my poem. Second., I loved your poem and the beauty of some of natures creatures you spoke of. Nice work, Loyd
Gino, Green Cay sounds like a bird hotspot. when do you serve dinner? ? i rarely have seen blue-winged teals here on the coast of northern california or in my many years in central new york. but when i have seen them here, it has been one or two pairs i guess. and while the males aren't (too me) splashy in their costume, they do appear rather stylish with the white crescent on the head and the sometimes subtle appearance of blue wing patch. maybe the fact that they are so calm in appearance makes them a good target for duck-hunting predators. thanks for sharing another bird poem with me. :) bri
what a beautiful poem about an enchanting bird..so naturally portrayed..
