The irreparable loss is most heart rending in the line, "a ll I want is a hug from you More than anything else", knowing fully well that, that hug is never to come. Ohh! ! !

Very emotional and touching. Bereavement is the most affecting grief, most lasting. Leaves a void that does not get filled easily. Magically penned

If this poem is based on the facts of your life, I truly hope you find someone available with a hug which can take away some of the sadness. Well done. ;) bri

Grieving creates more sadness as you remember happier Christmases together. Touching and heartfelt.

It's hard to lose a loved one. I've been an orphan for many years now. I still miss my parents.

A poignant poem. The deep sadness expressed in this poem augments it's value. I quote, 'My hot tears turn icy, nothing can console me now'....powerfully expressed dear LeeAnn. Top score.

Oh, I've been down that road to. It soon will be time to visit Tina's grave to make it tidy for Christmas.
