You blow me away, Lord!
Your steadfastness and unfailing love.
Who is like you?
No mother, no husband, no cute little daughter,
No one on earth can compare with you.

I look at the hairs on my hand
and imagine you forming me in my mothers womb.
How you loved me then!
How you love me even now!
It has never changed;
From everlasting to everlasting
Your love has stayed the same
Unfailing and always there.

I cannot count the ways you show me just how deeply you care.
Your forgiveness runs on tap,
Just a mere whisper and you forgive.
You do not hold me accountable?
Because HE paid my price.
But you hold me,
You hold me
You have never ever ever let me go.
You also disciple me into discipline.

In the most loving of ways
You correct my path
You order my steps
You light my way.
You send me words of encouragement
On the backs of cars
From the mouths of babes
In the pages of old journal entries
You remind me of old promises and provisions.

What would I do without you, Lord?
Where would I be?
I want to be nowhere without you.
Flood and fill my life
Saturate me and perfect that which concerneth me.

It blows my mind, Lord
That you would die for me
That YOU could love me, of all people, sinful me,
That you would stand at the door of my heart,  
My heart, fickle and cheesily cheap and ever often unfaithful and forgetful of your marvellous ways.

That YOU would stand for me and cover me, protect me
Forgive me, favour me, raise me up
Lift up my head
Heal my heart
Heal my body
Feed my soul.

O Lord, how you strengthen me with your word.
2000 years ago and older, these words of yours spoken
Can still bring life to me!
YOU blow my mind, JESUS!
