Blowing My Blues Away Poem by John Sensele

Blowing My Blues Away

Rating: 5.0

Blown my blues away
Sent them packing on a hill
As I strive to find my way
To proceed to bliss which strives hard to hold sway
Peeling off veneers, assailing goodwill
Blowing my blues away
Which run out of weary words to say
Although they try hard to strike a deal
As I strive to find my way
Through minutes and seconds everyday
When I push away quills of chill
Blown my blues away
Into a crucible crying for clay
Where my bliss I can't spill
As I strive to find my way
On my knees I bend to pray
On the day I grew the skill
To blow my blues away
As I strive to find my way.
