I love poems that compress a lot of emotion into a few lines. That's what makes the sonnet in western poetry so special like Keats's BRIGHT STAR, WOULD I WERE AS STEADFAST AS THOU ART - all his poignant awareness of a doomed love affair and an early death compressed into 14 lines. Amazing feat. But you do this in blossom, Flowers and romantic love are meant to intergrow and they do this in your clever poem. The scent draws the man to the Flower/Woman, that's her role. But he has to detach her from the vine, that's his role. And only then can they blossom into love. Paraphrasing your poem is clumsy and awkward which just proves how gracefully you express this theme in verse.
