Blooming In The Sun Poem by Micron Jan

Blooming In The Sun

The rays of the sun kissed, caressed my face,
As I slowly awoke from my dark hiding place.
Stretching my petals, opening wide,
The night's shadows fade; I step outside.

I'm the flower, oh, can't you see?
Dancing in the light, just being me.
With every bloom, I let my heart show,
In the gentle breeze, I start to glow.

Remember those nights, feeling so small?
Wrapped in my petals, afraid to fall.
But today's a new chance, the light is so bright,
I sway to the rhythm, I'm ready to fight.

Butterflies whisper, bees stop by,
My sweet perfume makes them sigh.
Each passing smile, each gaze, a delight,
In this garden of dreams, I'll shine through the night.

But as the sun dips low, and the sky turns grey,
The moon rises up, it's time to sway.
I fold my petals, protect my heart,
Until dawn breaks in, that's when I'll start.

So here's to the days, I rise and I fall,
With every new dawn, I'll give it my all.
In this garden of life, we'll bloom, we'll grow,
Just a flower in the sun, sharing love as we flow.
