Is this a spring poem? The snow is melting, the pig sees the shining sun at the end. The land seems to be loosening up after the frigid hold of winter. But I may be reading my own sensory experience into the poem. Just five days ago the temperature in my hometown was 12 degrees below zero, but today it is almost 60 degrees above zero. That's a 70 degree difference! So everyone here is exhilarated by an early spring. Water from melted snow (perhaps pagan snow) is rushing down streets and sidewalks like tiny rivers. So you see I was primed for a Spring Poem, and your BLOOMING has fulfilled my immediate need!
