Blood In The Water Poem by Daniel Brown

Blood In The Water

Five years of fucking hellfire,
In a nightmare,
Waking dead,
A dream I couldn't stir from,
Hollow screaming in my head...
It bled me dry
And I pulled you in to feed the darkness,
Ripped to pieces...
Torn apart...
Again and again.
The breaking point comes and goes,
Against the rocks it split our heads...
Now you've swam to shore for safety,
Left alone,
In pools of red...
