Betrayal is a funny thing I suppose. It never comes from an enemy or foe. So true Miss Grace. Betrayal seems to always come from within. From those you trusted and loved! ! Loved this poem. Thank you for sharing! !

‘A stab in the back' might be figurative. So could be the blood flowing. But the wound is real, when the ‘back-stab' comes from someone ‘closest'
