You got it right! “Do we write for prize or pleasure? Isn’t it sweet emotions treasure? We come here to enjoy our leisure, Each of us sings one’s own measure.” There’s always two main reasons why we are writing, it is the prize and the pleasure. Those written words we wrote were just mainly based from our emotions, wherein sweet emotions were barely written. Yeah right, we are usually writing poems whenever we find free time. hehe Nicely written!

I had once explained to an elderly poet on this forum that we should feel grateful to Poem Hunter for publishing our poems and celebrate the 'joy of writing'! I also adviced him not to run after popularity ratings -since this forum is certainly No Measure for literary standards! I do it for fun, and nothing more And honestly, one write better when poor. :) I like this poem much. It is fitting. I guess I too am to be blamed, since I request critiques much, . but honestly, I just want to know im getting better at poetry. I do it, because I love it. :) . so should all. I think the childish bickering is nothing more than childish bickering and NOT necessary. A good write sir.
