Sensitive Insight is as necessary as sight and if we lack it we are blind despite having eyes...and we mostly play blind!

Totally agree with you, have met some of them myself. Not only do they not have humanity behind their eyes, but none in their souls either. Ones I've met are very emotional and into themselves because of their pasts, yet are cold and heartless to others. Then I have many in my life who are compassionate, caring, full of life and are attuned to others, doing what they can for people, especially those in need. Good, kind people. Thank you for sharing. Very true Dave, but I have experienced much humanity here on PH since losing my husband. Perhaps poetry and humanity go hand in hand.
