Blessed Sunshine Poem by Paul Sebastian

Blessed Sunshine

Rating: 5.0

There was void in my heart
There was emptiness in my soul
Over my void, you hovered
Your light graced through my soul

Like a candle you cursed darkness
Ushered, cared, drew me into light
Your dawn was my self-awareness
You lingered on in my daylight

Your smile, like morning sun
Lifted the dawn dew curtain
Each dawn, flowers smiled, birds sung
You bring dawn's gift: a celebration!

God bless you, dearest Sunshine
Your nature is to bless creation
Nature celebrates dancing when you shine
Keep shining love, God's creation!
