Middle America with giant asses Force fed like the meat they devoured Force fed to the war machine, etc. - this poem is full of strong imagery (cold child/blanket... bombs) and bitter assertions, an excellent write.
Lovely piece Lea loved the shivering child and then only blanket bombs great turn of phrase. Séamus
i love the acrimony of this piece. the acid drips from every word. i particularly liked: Global warming dries up rivers And our army’s all we’ll send true, it seems there are bigger problems to tackle. leave it up to the Current Administration to make a bad situation worse. fine job, this. Jake
This is really good Lea, I like it, Moyaxx (sorry not very articulate very tired!)
A poem that strikes home..............regards..............willow pearce
this is excellent lea, the crde reality of the modern most democracies.and i dont think there is always a need to rhyme your poems.sometimes they are better without that.
Some cutting, accurate lines. Perfect title. Agree with Earnest, at the line 'We’ll put you in power...' I tripped and fell. -chuck (8)
