Blackrock Poem by Daniel Miltz

Blackrock

At St. Marys Chapel of Ease
On St. Mary's Place
Amongst the trees

Have you anytime at all
See the black rock on the groundwall
Surveying, tuned in, focused
Absolutely a piece to be discussed

The darkling pebble is stunning
With illustrative silhouette carvings
Deliberately, wet of black tone
Holding up a large triangle capstone

Touching cobblestone foundation
Together with everything in formation
Made of cast bronze figurations
On traffic island in Blackrock location
