What a marvellous association between music and sentiments! The poet's desire is a burning one " To carry your brand upon my flesh, /As passion climbs ever higher" and " Hear me scream, bending strings/As I seemingly lose control" to be able to match in verse the passion emanated by the musician's instrument. The last four verses depict the unbridled admiration for the impressive achievements of the man who is regarded as the king of blues.

Your inspiration is beautiful in a write and tribute to Albert King Born Under a Bad Sign Good poem! Listening to him now....a glass of wine pairs well with it!

Ahh, yes THE BLUES... that familiar old friend that understands the sad songs of a poet's heart! I hear the melody of your words...and sway in it's soulful beat. Extremely enjoyed your write. PEACE
