Rating: 5.0

Traversing through the inner recesses of my mind,
Tripping, faltering and falling to find,
Tight grip on the reigns of my dark mind,

(2) It is only through this 'Black Mind' a man can bring about complete transformation within himself and from there to the outside world. Thanks, Geeta ji. Profoundly articulated poem.

Just to get hold of the threads of the series, I thought it prudent to revisit the poem (Black-1) yet again. Mind is believed to be finicky and fickle and we take it for granted that unless it is tamed, we can't exercise control over our thoughts and actions and to strive towards 'a lighted space... a visible area... to hear a sacred sound' and to have some kind of enlightenment in life.

This is indeed a great introspective poem with a philosophical touch. Each one of us tends to have a defense mechanism deep inside us and this Black Mind is one such thing- a wall - 'a protection against every fiend'! Thank you for sharing such a probing piece of poetry.

Black mind is protection to every kind of thing. Very amazing idea is shared with T alliteration. Lighted space is very kind. Treading toward lighted place is wise idea to get exact knowledge. We all wait to hear sacred things. Tending to soften life mesmerizes mind more....10

You are right, Kumarmani ji! Black mind is a protection like a talisman. Most often, it is interpreted as dark and intimidating. But that is not the case. A dark mind can move towards a lighted space at will. Yes! It means moving towards higher knowledge or wisdom. Thanks a lot for your wise comment - A vision of light!

Hi Geeta, Finicky minds try to cling to anything they find; they repose their on anybody who offers solace. Be it a talisman or the dirtiest rogue. Lack of self confidence is the reason.Well-developed story. Giving you an insight into the psyche of a Black Mind. Nice work.10++++
