Bizarre Ballad Of Whimsy Poem by Noen Muti

Bizarre Ballad Of Whimsy

In a realm askew where the moon waltzes with a spoon,
Bananas wear top hats, serenading a balloon.
Fish ride bicycles through a cosmic lagoon,
And squirrels recite sonnets to the man in the moon.

Jellyfish tango in a neon lagoon,
Giraffes play hopscotch under the maroon monsoon.
Tea parties with aliens at high noon,
Unicorns debate the meaning of a macaroon.

Giggling clouds whisper in a polka-dot dune,
As caterpillars play saxophones in tune.
Rainbows race snails to the sun's saloon,
Oh, the oddest of oddities in this poetic festoon.

In this surreal sonnet, where surrealists swoon,
An eccentric universe births an eccentric monsoon.
In the garden of whimsy, where daisies commune,
Absurdity reigns in the whimsical afternoon.
