Bittersweet Confusion Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Bittersweet Confusion

Rating: 5.0

Love is, sometimes, bitter
Like a coffee without any cream
Love is, sometimes, sweet
Like a chocolate-covered cherry
That slow melts in yr mouth
But yr love is bittersweet
A flavour that I distaste without joy
To get used to it
Because I have no use for the confusion
Whether you love me or not

Wow, I enjoyed it, love in an edible form, nevertheless, bitter pills are better for the health, Full 5 ***** I admire your creativity.

Love me not for a moment but for all time! I don't want to be confused about it either!

Reminds me of starting to eat something, and suddenly remembering I dislike the taste. Awesome verse, LeeAnn.

Love is both bitter as well as sweet. But the bitterness turns to sweet when it is flawless
