This poem has the lightness of the music of Mozart - eternally youthful with a sunny face. You capture the bitter-sweetness of young love and paint it with maturity's compassionate brush. Beautiful poem. love, Alison ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

You held my hand lest I should slip away Into the hollows of lost memory. -very poignant. I like the particular name reference. The whole poem has a truly bittersweet poem, like a beautiful recollection that saddens you when looking back, almost as if you miss it...i like the thought of rummaging through old memories in a book that all of a sudden become familiar again, very bittersweet.
