You articulate so finely the bittersweet nature of love. The loved one may well reappear some day. There are so many words that I wonder if they were real or just imagination. Very moving.

This amazing poem laudably articulates the negative facet of love! The last two lines in the form of a million mark question makes it a poignant piece of poetry! I admire the ink..!

This poem is deeply moving. The speaker has been hurt badly by her beloved's withdrawal of his love. And her plight is sad for sure. B-U-T she retains her integrity and preserves the love he had abandoned. She has grown morally through her loss and suffering. Every word she speaks is blessed with her goodness of spirit. What a treasure this man has lost by his lack of her depth of love.

This is so beautiful it takes my breath away. The scene is sad because this parting is terminal, there is no shred of hope for some future reunion. But there is no trace of bitterness or anger. Instead what comes through is the poet's GRATITUDE for what she received and not anger that she wasn't given more. This is the truest expression of love when a person LETS GO of her beloved because that person needs their freedom. There is a goodness in this poem which will haunt me with its truth.

You bring up every readers' memories of love's demise. The pain of it, the bewilderment of it, the bitterness of it. I wonder if anybody remembers a love that broke down with a nostalgic smile and a feeling of thankfulness for having experienced the love up to the point of its strangulation, amputation, or withering.. This poem is so sensitive to the pain and the unfaithfulness of it all. A multitude of painful but brilliant 10's.

Love has dual faces and this indicates many things. Beauty of life is nourished with interesting features of love. While a leaf falls this whispers. Separation from love is painful and this is very bitter. An interesting poem is beautifully penned that carries grief and joy.10

A heart-warming poem...so sad...and yet, as Tennyson said: ''tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.''

When love becomes just a memory, it pains us! This is a very emotive write where there is anticipation, the desire to enjoy the company of the loved one and the sense of emptiness at the thought that the person sought shall never turn up! Beautiful poem Bharati!

The repercussion of 'love' is manifold......which nobody is able to predict......the real turns into imaginary and vice versa.....your poem raises the pertinent characteristics of 'love' in a realistic way...thanks for sharing your emotions...
