Birth Of Santa Poem by michael Smajda

Birth Of Santa

Born on a frozen slope
In the center of the North Pole,
Santa Claus was spirited
With a Godly-like soul.

Since he was a baby,
This has always been his goal,
Make everyone happy
Throughout each vale and knoll.

His father taught him how
To make things with his hands.
How to tame, train animals
To obey his commands.

His mother read him stories
From her many bookstands
Of needs, customs of people
Living in other lands.

Using all his knowledge,
Santa Claus, one Christmas Day,
Build a sturdy contraption
That resembled a sleigh.

And harnessed reindeer to it
And off he went on his way
Gliding the world over,
Merrily, like child's play.

Wherever there were children
In houses sleeping sound,
Santa steered his good-will chariot,
Quietly, toward the ground.

And even no Christmas tree
Within their homes could be found,
Santa Claud still left behind presents
Beautifully wrapped all around.
