Some story telling! Please don't indulge in bending Hindu Mythology according to some meaningless hear-says! And where is poetry in you posting SLN?
this is fascinating to hear others stories is always a great thing thanks 10
This mythological rendering is nice! But I would like to add, - Mt Kailash at 22,027 ft is the tallest in Tibet & is the source of 4 longest rivers in Asia, - Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra & the Ganges.KAIASH means 'crystal' in Hindi. The ancient Aryans called it Meru & belived that its peak was the paradissiacal city of INDRA, theirGod of storms! The path to this city was the pathway of the stars, where dead souls stood among trees bossoming flowers, - awaiting re-birth! The Mount was Shiva's linga & the Lake below the yoni of His wife! Thanks for your poem! These are from my personal notes. - RAJ
