Aint no thunder
Aint no lightning
Aint no storm
the mother gives birth
the child is born

The mother is healthy
The child is healthy
another living
breathing
human being
is brought into the world
The life
of the child
was not terminated
it was allowed
to live
how can you take
away the life you
cannot give?
There is a mother
there is a father
and there is a child
that is a part of both
of them
Let a new life
be allowed to begin!
