Can't stand the sound
of the birds singing
on a spring morning
Don't they see
it's their winter death
they are calling
Δεν αντέχω
το κελάηδημα των πουλιών
τ' ανοιξιάτικο πρωινό
Δε βλέπουν
πώς το χειμερινό τους θάνατο
καλούν;
How quickly they forget the birds that fell during the cold winter, yet in the spring they eat, drink and be merry, as winter takes note, great poem
In the start of spring, the birds are always everywhere and so many together CHIRPING, wished they WERE SINGING. I like very much this hilarious serious poem about THE BIRDS..............................I like this poem very much. Lovely!

Yes, you rarely find a dead bird in the grass or forest, but you always hear them singing outside your window, especially on a sunny morning. (And certain bird songs are annoying, especially the cacophonous, repetitive ones.) Your reader comments, like that of Bill Cantrell, seem invaluable, and are much appreciated.
I agree,100%
