I love and enjoyed this poem based on the topic of birds, their young ones nestling, leaving the nest at the right time for good. Thanks for sharing. I quote a few lines: Young get wings, by and by: / and coaxed by the mother bird; / attempt to fly.

An observation from Nature leading to a question, we have to ponder over! The young birds fly to greater heights. The parent birds' task ends there! There is no more regrets! But what about man? He foolishly carries a life time of cares and regrets about his children flown from him! If you get time, please read my poem- An Epilogue to a Prologue on a bird tending her fledglings! Immensely enjoyed this piece! !

I chose to comment on this poem because I adore birds - this write is so beautiful and sweet, and poses a thought-provoking question at its conclusion. Enjoyed reading very much.
