Bipolar Mind Poem by Emma Jane Rae

Bipolar Mind

If only I could,
Make you look,
You'd read the whole story,
Not shut the book,
You'd understand,
Each written word,
You'd understand,
Your behaviour is completely absurd,
You'd understand,
The things you've done wrong,
You'd understand,
Why you've felt like this for so long,
You'd understand,
Those manic highs,
You'd understand,
The times you've just sat and cried,
If you could just take,
The bill by the horns,
You'd realise,
It's the ‘real' you that I mourn,
My wonderful man,
So sweet and so kind,
Ruined our love,
With his bipolar mind.
