Though I 'love' all 3 stanzas, the SECOND STANZA I think is my favorite of all 3. Bravo. : ) bri

This poem is a 'favorite' to which I've given ***** stars today. : ) On the other hand, SOME poems I've read (by others) might better have been aborted, ....BUT their 'mother(s) ' might not agree with me. : )))

Khairul, I love your poem, its theme of the development and birth of a poem, especially 'umbilically linked'.

Kairul, When I, Bri, am caught in the beam(s) of an automobile, train, truck, or bus, I LEAP into the 'limelight'***, where I so richly deserve to be. : ))) bri

a masterpiece, nothing more need be said, I loved the fetus womb brain's chamber imagery, the first stanza line introduction repetition for emphasis; I liked poetry sleeping moving about, keyboard writing or pen then birth into the world. That was only stanza one, to save time, I loved the poet references also. A wonderful write :)

Thank you very much, Terry Craddock. Your appreciation of the first stanza of the poem shows the extent of your attention my poem received; I am much thankful for that. It's a great delight to see a poet's work appreciated by another poet of repute.

Where speech fails, poetry takes over. A poet's thoughts are umbilically linked To the rhythm of his heart, harmonized. He toys with them at the dead of night, And wanders away to a dreamy world. His thoughts spread their fanciful wings, And fly out as a poem, in rhymes or not. - - - - - A fantastic poem.

Poetic is fascinating and mysterious in its origin. But when ever it sprouts through various channels of mind it brings joy to writers and readers alike. Thank you Khairul Ahsan for sharing the poem and many thanks for your comment on my poem.

phantasmic exploration of what it's like to write a poem and why; really nails that sense of it being something part of oneself like an umbilical cord! Exact and expressive; slightly scientifically harmonious too!

Where speech fails, poetry takes over. It's a common experience when we want to say something but we cannot say, we just recite a " Sheyr" (two lines of Persian/Urdu ghazal) . A great poem, a wonderful work.

Incredible. Your poems are mostly inspiring to most writers because it's theme or what you are saying relates every poet with their own creativity with words.
