Very well done and thoughtfully expressed. One has to ponder the life of people that suffer brain trauma, yet they are just as alive and human as all people are and they still have consciousness.

I like this poem a lot. Ir reminds me of a nephew I had who never could walk or talk because of severe cerebral palsy. When he passed away, I wrote a poem about him. His parents liked the poem so much that they had the first eight lines of the poem engraved on the back of his headstone. So far, it's the only one of my poems that is carved in stone. The name of the poem is TODD THEODORE.
