Biggum Poem by Lamar Cole

Biggum

Rating: 5.0

Biggum was a hard-working farmer.
He loved to chew tobacco and then spit.
He didn't know the meaning of the word quit.
His work hours were hard and long.
And his mind and body were strong.
He had a good wife and good life.
And keen wits sharp as a knife.

That's what I did over 20 years ago. A dentist scared me that users got mouth cancer so I quit tobacco even though I loved it. Sugarless gum has been my life since then.
