Bigger Than Many Mountains Poem by Dorsey Baker

Bigger Than Many Mountains

The monster walked
It's big feet
Tramping upon the earth
Shoving its way through
The darkness
Cracking thunder
howling winds
Pounding raindrops
Upon empty streets
Awakening the silence
Stampeding its way
Through the heavy clouds
It came
A monster bigger
And stronger than
Many mountains!
