Big Time Prisoner Poem by Dorsey Baker

Big Time Prisoner

Rating: 5.0

A prisoner behind prison walls
You don't know
When the rain
Begins to fall
You don't know
When the sun
Begins to shine
You just try to
Stay out of trouble
And do your time

A prisoner behind prison walls
The clock is ticking
But you can't hear it tick
They bring you
A plate of food
So nasty it makes you sick
A prisoner behind prison walls
You've got
A price upon your head
You might get
Buried alive
Or you might
Just come out dead!
