Hi Juan: Thanks for the comments on 'Up in the Big Bear Mountains'. I wrote this poem when I was 21 years old and stationed at Coronado, Calif. near San Diego. Our minds do seem to think in the same manner, as this poem you wrote is so similar to mine. I really think that rhyming makes the poem and you do it well. I must give you a 10 for a great write. This took me back to my life in the far north of Ontario. Those frost- bitten toes and fingers seem like a badge of fond memories now. I wouldn't give up one especially when I realize how it served to give me my resilience for later life. Adeline
