A very lovely poetic tribute to Emily Dickinson. I like the inference that time flies even when the clock is stopped. Very nice indeed.

A first posting on this site with such power and poetic clarity sets an unenviable standard Tsira but I think it a challenge you are equal to... Rgds, Ivan

Tsira, this is a beautifully crafted poem that draws its inspiration from the words of a very special poet. The phrasing of your poem is excellent, and the subject matter has just the right amount of melancholy without lapsing into the maudlin. Your final couplet leaves the reading with a feeling of hope. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I gave this poem a 9 becauise the meaning is too unclear to me. What I did evaluate however, had no deficiencies in any way. This was a three verse poem, which is the ideal size for a poem. When I see a three verse poem, I know that I am reading a great poet. also, The internal structure was perfect. Any statement can be effectively made using this internal structure. Wonderful. GW62
