Beyond The Horizon Poem by Noen Muti

Beyond The Horizon

Fading footprints in the sand,
Erased by the wind, yet still whispering.
Of paths that don't always run straight,
But lead the soul to its intended place.

In the stillness of the night, the stars ask,
'What is it that you seek in the vastness of the world? '
I remain silent, searching for answers
In the relentless tremors of footsteps.

The answer lies not at the peak, nor at the base,
But is woven into the journey itself.
It slips through the narrow cracks,
As feet step forward, even on winding roads.

The light is distant, yet never lost,
Guiding me through the darkness.
It's not about what's possessed,
But what's felt when everything is gone.

When time closes the chapter on my story,
I want to see the silhouette on the other side.
I don't yearn for a crown,
But the serenity of having arrived.
