Beyond The Final End Poem by Dee Gey

Beyond The Final End

Our pictures in my phone's gallery
Are now ghosts of what we used to be.
No new messages will ever come,
No more promises left undone.

I'm lost in grief, I'm caught in pain,
Each breath a struggle, each step in vain.
And there's no you to comfort me,
In this world that feels like an endless sea.

Our days together have finally ceased,
Yet your presence lingers still.
In the spaces now left empty,
And in my vivid memories.

Then, if my final breath is drawn,
Meet me—let's greet the coming dawn.
To a boundless realm, we'll freely roam,
To a place where heart and soul find home.
